HKRFU Partners With Diageo

The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) today announced a new partnership with Diageo for the Guinness® brand to become the official sponsor and official beer of the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens and official beer of the HKRFU.

Guinness® will also be the official supplier and beer at the Sevens Village and King's Park Sports Ground.

Mr. Trevor Gregory, chairman of the HKRFU commented: "Guinness® is a great brand that has a long and proven worldwide record of working alongside rugby and I am looking forward to our Hong Kong partnership. An added bonus is that I find it an extremely agreeable beer as well!"

A number of launch activities will be held alongside rugby games/tournaments over the next two to three months, of which details will be supplied in due course.
