Serevi declares hand for Hong Kong

Sevens coach Waisale Serevi has named his squad of 12 to represent Fiji in the next two events on the IRB Sevens World Series in Hong Kong and Adelaide, including two changes to the team that won the USA Sevens in San Diego last month. Epeli Dranivasa makes his return in place of Simeli Koniferedi, while the strapping Semisi Serevi comes in for Mesake Davu.

Naqelevuki free to play

Sireli Naqelevuki's three-month suspension for testing positive for cannabinoids ends on 22 March 2007.

Naqelevuki lost his contract with South African Super 14 side the Stormers following the suspension and, while he will not be considered for the next two events, according to Serevi he could still represent Fiji Sevens before the end of the season.

"I am happy for Sireli," Serevi said. "I guess we all learn from our mistakes and he'll do just that. "Sireli's a very good player, a very strong player and he'll be considered for the final leg of the sevens series. It's too late for Hong Kong."
